Friday, April 10, 7-8pm: HeART-Centered Healing Connections

Meander through Nature-inspired works of art, experiencing with your heart, the essence of the art. With gentle movement, mindful observing, and guided imagery, participants can sink into the art of the Healing Nature exhibit in quiet community. Your guide: Elaine M Egidio, Dance Therapist, Eco-psychotherapist, and lover of Nature. $15 for members / $20 for non members

Saturday, April 11, 9am - 12:30pm: Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweeps

Clean Ocean Action’s Beach Sweeps have mobilized 176,000+ people to protect New Jersey’s coast, removing 8.7 million pieces of debris. Every cleanup benefits marine life, coastal communities, and policies that stop pollution at the source! Volunteers of all ages can participate!Registration is required and is open now!

Come together to exchange Nature’s valuable gifts. Join us for a seed swap and plant exchange at the gallery.

How it Works: Bring your native to NJ seeds, plants, or cuttings to swap with our local community.

Saturday, April 18, 10am - 2pm: Earth Day at Huber Woods

The Park System invites family and friends of all ages to celebrate Earth Day at the Huber Woods Environmental Center. Events include live animal shows, and guided nature and history walks. Plus, bring a gently used nature book you no longer read and exchange it for a reading adventure that is new to you. FREE!

Sunday, April 19, 1-4pm: Making Waves Coalition Clothing Swap

A fun, sustainable way to update your wardrobe while giving new life to pre-loved clothing.

How it Works:
Bring up to 10 gently used items of clothing, to swap for an item(s) of your choosing! Upon arrival, each participant will be given a ticket for each item they bring in. We will be accepting a MAX of 10 pieces of gently used clothing per person.

Clothing Requirements:
We will be accepting both men’s and women’s clothing.All items must be gently worn and in good condition, with no visible signs of wear or damage. We will NOT be accepting any winter wear, used bathing suits, or undergarments.

At the end of swap, any unclaimed items will be donated to Lunch BreakProject Paul- both serving underserved communities within Monmouth County.Don’t miss out on the chance to revamp your closet, reduce waste, and enjoy local art and music.

Join us for a special talk on saving coastal wildlife.

From global warming to microplastics, the Jersey Shore is facing many environmental threats, but there is one thing we can all do to make a quick difference. Join Jenna Reynolds to discover how mindfulness, meditation, and how we look, see, and think about our everyday choices and actions can create a sustainable world where all life is respected.

Guest lecturer, Jenna Reynolds, is president and founder of Atlantic Highlands-based environmental non-profit Save Coastal Wildlife. She is an award-winning environmental educator with over 25 years of experience.

Join us to learn about the many benefits of plant-based eating and the work of the Plant Based Treaty Organization, which is a global non-profit organization, promoting a shift towards a plant-based food system.
