Do you have a story you've been meaning to write, but never got around to it? Do you have a project you've been working on that you want to share? Or maybe you just want to try your hand at creative writing.
Regardless of your writing background, the only requirement is a willingness to listen to your classmates, should they be willing to read their work.
Homework assignments, prompts to stimulate the creative process, and in-class writing are some of the techniques that will be used. Fiction, nonfiction and stream of consciousness are some genres we will cover in this newest art form at the Arts Council.
