Irish “Slow” Session

  • AH Arts 54 First Avenue Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 07716 United States (map)

Irish Slow Session - a traditional Irish music session where tunes are played at a slower, manageable pace to help beginners and intermediate musicians learn repertoire, improve group playing skills, and build confidence. The session will be run by Keeley Giblin (fiddle) and Robert O’Connor (Uilleann pipes/ tin whistle). We will focus on common tunes, that are easier to learn to provide a solid foundation for players.

1-2PM - Learn by Ear Workshop

2-4PM - Slow Session

Email Robert at rjocon@mac.com if you have any questions and/or would like to be put on an email list to receive reminders and session information. A set list and sheet music can be downloaded using the link below.

We will be meeting the third Sunday of the month at the AHArts Gallery in Atlantic Highlands (54 First Ave, Atlantic Highlands). Bring your own food and beverages.
