FREE KIDS SUMMER ART CLASSES!

Ages 6 to 12. Class size is limited!

Snacks will be served.

There will be an exhibit of the kids’ and their teachers’ artwork. Opening night for the exhibit will be Saturday August 23, 4:00 to 6:00.

Session 1: Monday, August 4, 10:00 to noon

Let’s Make a Mural!

Instructor: Robert O’Connor

Kids, come help us kick off our Kids Art Camp this summer by creating a mural on our big moveable wall!  We’ll cover the wall with colorful shapes and designs using lots of paint and markers, so be sure to wear your best painting clothes! The mural will remain for the month of August.

Magical Ocean Artworks Instructor: Ashley Lucas

Create your own whimsical sea glass painting during the first hour and decorate large clam shells during the second hour.

Watercolor Painting Instructor: Tracey Witter

Join our fun and creative watercolor class designed just for kids, where young artists explore colors and

techniques. This session encourages self-expression through guided projects and playful painting.

Session 5: Thursday, August 14, 10:00 to noon

Draw What You See Instructor: Joann Westgate

In this class we will explore the basics of drawing, and do some fun sketching exercises.We will show you the steps to understand how to see an object, animal, or landscape. The goal is for each student to develop their own self expression skills, use their imagination, and continue to draw and create in their own sketchbooks.
