Sefa Ozdogan (b.1997, Ankara, Turkey) is a visual, multi-media artist located in New York. He received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York (2022). He works in painting, printmaking, soft sculpture, and sculpture. Over the years Ozdogan’s work has focused on identity, symbolic interactionism, equality, and current events. His work has been exhibited in multiple group shows in New York and Turkey and represented in various publications: 20/20, Visual Opinion, and JAC ( Journal of Art Criticism). His work incorporates an artificial language, a conlang, which he created a decade ago.
